Clever Cubs Preschool Academy is committed to providing a safe, caring and inclusive environment for preschool age children. We focus on creating an environment rich in developmentally appropriate resources and materials and a world-class early childhood education promoting each child’s intellectual, social, emotional and physical development. We offer a play based program which is purposeful and developmentally appropriate and teaches children to think creatively so they may learn to navigate successfully in a complex and ever changing world

Megen Ababneh
Director
Megen was born in Saskatchewan, and after completing her undergraduate degree in Education, she traveled and taught in several countries around the world, and then went on to complete her Masters Degree in Education with the University of Calgary. After getting married and having her first child, she and her family settled in Calgary, where they have now called home for over 7 years and have since welcomed 3 more children into the world.Â
As a working mother of young children, Megen was frustrated with the lack of availability of strong early childhood educational programs available to busy parents. As an educator Megen understands that the benefits of a strong early education cannot be overstated!Â
Clever Cubs Preschool Academy was created to give busy families access to a high quality, world class early childhood education. The full day program was created to expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, to allow them to develop their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them as they learn and grow and play.
